About The White Swan

Previously known as The Cleveland, The White Swan has built up a reputation for being one of the finest pubs in the area, if not for the beer, for the homely atmosphere and friendly clientel. The pub consists of a beautifully crafted L-shaped bar, which stretches the length and width of the pub. The walls are decorated with antiques dating back to the nineteenth century, along with detailed artwork and memorabelia to suit the pubs fine atmosphere. The pub's open fireplace adds to the ambience, and keeps the clientel warm through those chilly winter months.

The pub is now owned by Jeff hind who bought the establishment in 2007 and has since brought events such as music night and folk night to the pub. The pub is run by Ashma Abdulrob, who is forever planning events & ordering beer, thus keeping The White Swan's reputation as one of the best pubs in the area. Since Ashma took over the pub is now host to two new beers - Captain Cook Endeavour and Captain Cook Angel's Touch.

There is always something new to enjoy upon each visit, whether it is the quiz night or music night, we'll always make sure you receive a warm welcome and a refeshing drink. Under recent new ownership we are now open all day, every day.
